My works is an attempt to connect with the unreachable, something abstract, something that is beyond verbal vocabulary. My obsession with the abstracted natural is evident in all my works – the integration of geometry, gesture, and figurative.
The human figure is the central metaphor for all of my art - the language of expression of visual art that means the most to me. They do not express concrete situations but they breathe expressive life into geometric abstraction. It is a balancing act in which I make conscious calculations to create harmony or discord. At other times, it is intuitive or emotional. I use both of these approaches in my art, separately and together.
